Just wanted to spare my new found love with my friends list. Last week I was bored and decided to find a new show to download and I thought I would give Torchwood a go because I had heard how very "gay" it was !!

I have just finished watching the season 1 finale and I loved the whole season for the below reasons !!

1. The Welsh accent is sooo hot
2. John Barrowman is gorgeous. I am not a usual fan of men(Well except Johnny Depp) but I will certainly make an exception for Mr Barrowman, I mean really I have never seen a man with such perfect skin. And he is just so sexy the way that he struts his stuff
3. This show is camp as Christmas
4. The story lines make no sense but you just don't care because it is entertaining anyway
5. It is about one of the only British shows I have ever show even the slightest interest in
6. Aliens........they are always a winner
7. They drive a sexy black SUV
8. They have cool gadgets
9. Everyone is shagging everyone else
10. Gay gay and more gay !!!

It is pretty awful actually(Well in a cheesy camp sense !) but i love it and I am now in the process of getting Season 2 so i can watch that over the weekend :)

If you haven't see this show already i would highly recommend giving it a go. You will probably hate it but it will be entertaining in that you will at least be able to laugh at the accents :P

Yes yes I know I never ever update here any more, but I am just soooo excited I just wanted to share !!

I am going to The L Word convention in England later this year and I just found out about an hour ago that not only is Jennifer Beals gonna be there but now Laurel Holloman is gonna be there as well !!!

Wow this is like my dream come true, my two favourite women in the world (Of course Marg is very very very close behind them !!) and I am gonna get to meet them .........OMG, OMFG !!

Yay I have my copy of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", just picked it up at 12.01 from Waterstones, and now I am gonna sit up all night and read it.............Wooohoooo I am so excited !!! :P

This is a plea to anyone on my friend list who may be able to help me :)

As you can all plainly see, my LJ lay out and design is awful, boring, lame and dull dull dull. This is due to the fact that I don't have one artistic bone in my body. No really I lie not, I have difficulty drawing a straight line let alone coming up with all of the amazing pictures,vids and icons that all you guys come up with, seriously I could never make any of them in a million years !!!

Now give me a 1000 page piece of literature or a scientific equation and I am well away but art and design really just isn't my strong point.

I use my journal a lot more these days and I read it all day everyday and I have to be honest and say I am sick to death of looking at the horrific design of it and I would give my right arm for something sleek and snazzy.

I am down on bended knee (No don't worry everyone I am not proposing he he) and begging asking nicely if there is anyone that would be able to help me. I am not looking for anything too fancy I just want something that is just laid out a bit nicer and is a little more stylish. And also as this is Harry Potter month for me I was hoping to try and get some sort of nice HP theme going on , with a nice header, but I really have not got the faintest idea of where to start, I am truely stuck. I have tried reading all of the help manuals on how to change things but yet it all seem to go in one ear and out the other. To say I am useless would be an understatement.

I am afraid I don't have much to offer in return other then my continued witty sarcasm and strange sense of humour in my entries. I would offer lots of kisses but I am not sure everyone would like that, so all I will say is I would be eternally grateful to anyone who can help me out with this.

I will of course cry if I get no responses to this (Even if they just say "No bugger off and do it yourself" ) and that is not a pretty sight I tell you, so feel free to help a girl in need !! he he

I just wanna have a little rant, so apologies in advance !!

I am getting a little bit sick of conversations similar to the one below that keep happening to me in real life !!

Me - Oh yeah I have a friend who likes that TV show/movie, works for that company, has visited that country etc (Delete as appropriate)
Other person- So is that like a real friend or an on-line friend ?
Me- Umm what ??
OP-  Are they are real person or a person you met on-line?
Me- Well yes actually I did meet them online
OP- Ok so they are not actually a "real" friend then as in someone you actually know , they are just someone you met online !

WTF?? I am seriously getting tired of this, this is 2007 for gods sake is it really that difficult for people to understand that it is actually possible to operate a friendship via a computer, you know you don't actually have to spend every 5 mins in each others back pockets or even be in the same country to be considered friends.

It drives me mad that people assume that people who I have met on-line can not be real or proper friends because they don't actually exist in the same tiny bubble that I do.

My on-line friends are some of the best friends I have ever had, they are there at any time of the day or night to chat with if I need them, they totally get me and I get them. There is no false friendships based on how you look, what clothes you wear or any other superficial rubbish , friendship is based solely on the fact that you have so much in common and you love talking to each other. I don't need to be in the same room as someone to give them advice and ask for it in return, I know that even with thousands of miles between us we will always be there to support one another.

They listen to you for hours when you talk about your new favorite fandom and how hot the lead actress is where as people in your real life wouldn't have a clue what you were talking about ,well either that or they would tell you to shut the hell up.

I trust all of my on-line friends and I know I could tell them anything and they won't judge, there is a bond there that people who don't have on-line friends just don't understand.

You know sometimes it even feels like you are questioning me about these "so called" on-line friends of mine and implying that they don't actually exist and I make them up for some reason. You always giggle when I mention them like I am a child describing their imaginary friend.

Please people do not get all snarky and refer to my on-line friends as not "real"  and assume we are all a little bit sad because we communicate the way we do. I can tell you now they are as real to me as you could possibly get and I am insulted that you would even think to suggest otherwise. Grow up and drag yourself into a world where not everything revolves around you and your sad little existence. You know one day you will realize that there are some really wonderful people out there that actually exist outside of your tiny part of the world. And who knows you might find that if you get to know someone who is a little bit different to you that you might actually learn something and maybe even god forbid actually enjoy the experience.

Seriously where have some people been all their lives !! *rollseyes*

Woohoo just wanted to say how excited I am about tonight's(will be tomorrow when I actually see it ) CSI Season Finale !!!

I absolutely love Season Finale's, they are what I spend the whole 24 week Season waiting for, I admit it I am a complete "Finale Whore!" and proud :) he he

Anyway combine that with the fact this is not just any old Finale, this is the CSI Finale
*whichislikeOMGZstillthebestshowever*  and you have a winning combination :)

Gonna set my alarm now so I am up nice and early in the morning to watch it !! :P

Wow I just wanna quickly say how good "Stalker"  the Season Finale of "Cold Case" was. It was like ZOMG  the best season finale of all 4 seasons, even better then "The  Woods" which was a pretty damn hard  finale to beat, but I think this one did it !

It has left us hanging with an oh so horrible cliffhanger (which because I am such a big girl made me cry like a baby he he ), which I usually hate but in this instance  I am prepared to deal with it for the sake of the great storyline.

I won't go on coz I don't think anyone here on my F-List is actually that big of a CC fan but I just wanted to have a  quick fangirl squeee about how much I loved it !!

Well it's time to announce the next lucky show that has been knocked off the list of 40 !!

*Grey's Anatomy*

I have steered clear of this show for so long due to the hype surrounding it and also due to the fact it was going head to head with CSI, but I thought what the heck I will give it a go.

I managed to watch all 3 seasons (Well up to episode 21 of Season 3, as that is the most current episode !!) in 8 days so I am pretty impressed with that, although I really am gonna have to try harder if I wanna get all 40 shows in before the end of the year !! he he

I have absolutely fallen in love with this show and I am gutted that I waited this long to see it, although it is fun getting to see all of the episodes one after another and not having to wait a week at a time !!

Anyway as usual my thoughts on it under the cut !!

The next show is gonna be 24, but as that has 6 seasons under it's belt it may be some time before I come back with my thoughts on that ...........maybe I might do it one season at a time :)

 Just wanted to quickly update my journal after finally watching this weeks Heroes just to say how absolutely amazing it was, this show was a little slow to start but now I am totally gripped.

Nothing else to say really just wanted to show a little Heroes love, what a thoroughly worthless entry he he  !!

And the next lucky contestant in the Super Dooper Download Challenge was "My Name is Earl" :)

I did 2 Seasons in 2 days which I am very proud of , but to be fair that was about 7 hours or so of viewing per day, so I feel like I can do so much better !! he he

Season 2 has one more episode to go this week before it finishes so as soon as that is done I can cross this one off of my list !! :P

I was gonna move on to Law & Order SVU next but due to the amount of Seasons it has I might put that one off for a little while and concentrate on something a little less heavy going..............will keep you all informed as and when a decision is made !! he he

Well as my last show of choice Heroes is completely up to date and I have downloaded and watched all of the episodes , I thought it was time to move on to cramming in the next show. :)

I know I mentioned some choices in one of my previous entries that I was gonna go for next but I have decided a small change is in order, and this is the new plan of action !

I have picked 40 TV shows that I have always wanted to watch or have partly watched , and I have set myself a challenge and that is to try and download and watch all of these 40 shows before the end of the year.

I have worked it out and of the shows that I wanna watch there are about 183 Seasons in total , which when I look at it seems really scary, but it is only roughly one show a week, which although is pretty tough, with all the spare time I have on my hands is something that may be achievable.

Anyway I am gonna keep my LJ updated with each show as and when I watch it !!

This week I have watched Seasons 1 & 2 of Rome and the first 2 Episodes of The Tudors, under the cut is what I think of both !!

OMG how much did I love last nights CSI, I mean seriously it was one of the best ones this season and the fact that all of our beloved main characters were only in it for a maximum of a couple of minutes each says a lot to me about where this show is headed !! *Unhappy Look*

Anyway my favourite bits under the cut :)

Well in my last entry I was asking for some suggestions of the next TV show I should indulge myself in, and thanks to everyone that suggested something but I have decided to go against all those suggestions for now and have Chosen "Heroes" as my new show to watch even though it hasn't even finished it's first season yet !! :)

I have downloaded and watched the first 6 episodes and so far I am not sure how I feel about it, it's not a boring show, far from it, but it just hasn't captured me instantly the way other shows have, I guess I just need to give it a few more episodes yet to kick into the good stuff :)

The main plus point of Heroes is it has Ali Larter in it who is just gorgeous beyond words, she has such an amazingly striking face and it's very easy to watch the show when she is on screen :P

As there are only 19 episodes of Heroes so far I know I will of watched them all by the end of this week so after that I will be going with some of the recommendations you guys gave me.

Gonna go for Nip/Tuck first, then House, then Bones and once I am up to date with all of them I am gonna go right back to the beginning and start watching ER all over again.

I think I have enough there to keep me amused for the next week or so !! he he

Well I just finished watching the season finale of Prison Break, which I have to say was bloody excellent (but more on that a little bit later !!) and I thought I would do a little post on all of the TV shows I am currently or have recently been watching !! :P

Right now I need you guy's help. I am an obsessive TV watcher and if I am not downloading something every day and watching it , then I really do get withdrawal symptoms and now that I am up to date with Prison Break and Lost, and Dirt and The L Word have finished I need some other stuff to keep me entertained.

So please can you guys give me suggestions of what I should go for next, as you probably know I love my American drama's but other then that I am not picky, so any suggestions are good, doesn't have to be a new show, can be an old one thats not even on any more. All I ask is that they are not shows with just 1 season under their belts(unless it's something you really think I would love!!), coz I want something where I can download loads all at once and spend 2 weeks solid watching them all :)
